Your teeth are precious, and they need to be looked after, but if you have ever had dental trauma, the dentist may be the last thing on your list. It’s a big fear for people, and it’s even a fear I’m still healing from.

Unfortunately, many of us push off preventative care and early dental needs, like fillings for new areas of decay. Because of this, you may end up with pain, broken teeth, and larger, more expensive fixes later. I neglected getting a molar fixed when I was younger, and it’s cascaded into several replacement fillings over the years, and probably near to $1000 in dental needs. The intent of this video is to help you make peace with your next dental experience so this won’t happen to you.

At some point, I hope that the dental industry will take a huge leap in their care and technology. More cavity reversal through diet (it’s possible!) and non-drilling would be great. Until we are to that point, please take care of your teeth with the options that we do have.
