Naming programs and packages hasn’t always been an easy task for me, but with the brainstorming help of my own coaches, it’s gotten much simpler.

When I begin looking for a name for a group or a new service, I often write down words that represent the work I’ll be doing. It’s also helpful to look at the results you intend to bring to people, as well as the time frame you’ll be supporting your clients in. Then these can all be blended into a title.

Most importantly, let the name show up when you are inspired, because it can’t be forced.

Here are 2 examples of program names that I’ve used in the past year, and exactly why I chose the names:

1. Early in the year, I led a group called 30 Days to Release Your Financial Constriction, which is now available as a product when specially requested. The intention of the program was to release constriction in many areas, including health, love, and money. When the circulation in these areas increases, opportunities for new income begin to flow.

This group was modeled after a group program that I had led before, called 30 Days of Wonderful™. While I love and adore the name “30 Days of Wonderful™,” I wanted to create a more results-oriented name for this new program, since it included extra support for building wealth consciousness.

The name became “30 Days to Release Your Financial Constriction.” “30 Days” was the amount of time we would be using as the container for our transformation. The word “Releasing” is a gentle word that implies ease, since the whole process was created to be fun and simple. (Yes, releasing financial constriction can be very easy!) “Financial Constriction” was the struggle that the program was created to address.

2. After that, I was filling a “by invitation only” group for new entrepreneurs called Poised, Passionate and Ready for Business. It was for entrepreneurs, holistic professionals and coaches who were ready to lay the foundation for their 6-figure business. The entrepreneurs in this group were going to be activating new channels of income, getting booked for speaking, and so much more.

Here’s the breakdown of the name:

Poised

People who run around in a panic do not make good decisions. When you are poised and calm, it allows guidance, intuition, and the support of the Universe to run through you. I would be teaching everyone in the group to find ways to stay poised, focused, and calm. Being poised requires that we stay emotionally centered, and the food we eat must also be grounding and calming. A poised entrepreneur requires a diet of natural foods. I suggest less sugar, caffeine, and processed foods. You also need to eat enough food at each meal, so you don’t get shaky or emotional after going too long without eating.

Passionate

My intention for the group was to support entrepreneurs who were absolutely passionate about what they are creating. There are many bumps on the entrepreneurial journey, and being passionate moves you through all of them. Passion will keep you from quitting.

Ready for Business

To get results, you have to do the work, and the group ended up being full of people who were ready to take action, both internal action (adjusting beliefs), and external action (doing what intuition tells you to do, and then taking small steps toward larger business goals).

If you are ready to create unique and exciting programs and services in your own business, with meaningful names that connect with your clients, definitely use the tips I’ve just shared.
