Now is the time when you can live your passions, your dreams, and get paid really well for it.
You can literally be paid to be you.
When your life feels so good, so fulfilling, and so rich, other people will take notice. They will want what you have, and they will be happy to send you money for it.
Getting paid to be you is a journey of self-acceptance and self-respect. You’ll be called to be more open about your passions, and share them more publicly. You may completely shift directions in your work, or might choose to turn yourself into a personal brand (earlier this year, I transferred www.ParisianPicnics.com to www.AvaWaits.com). You’ll also need to move past fears that you are not enough, and that you don’t deserve to make money from what you know, even if your knowledge feels like it’s second nature to you.
The process of being paid to be you begins by creating a healthy, rich and fulfilling life for yourself. As you do, you also share it with others.
1. First, you must treat your body very well, and eat the food that is best suited for it, so you have the energy to do all of this. If you want to glow, choose food that glows with energy. I have an organic green salad with nearly every meal (even breakfast), and I recommend choosing meals that are natural, and rich in fresh vegetables.
2. Next, you have to tap into happiness and excitement. What lights you up? What makes you laugh and giggle? What lulls you into a carefree and relaxed state of being? Which wonderful people will you surround yourself with? It’s about knowing what simple things make you happy to be alive.
3. When it’s time to share your talents and passions with the world, you have many different avenues to choose from. You may prefer to share your personal story as inspiration for an audience, through paid speaking. You might choose to work with private clients, or you can use social media to share your message and attract the people who are meant to work with you.
When you master these steps, people are going to show up in your life and want what you have. They will ask you to be their mentor, and they will pay you because you are simply and so beautifully…you.
