Ava and Jack CanfieldOver the weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a fundraising event that was full of famous people. There were guests who I consider to be famous in the online business world, and in personal development circles (I met Jack Canfield, and Bob Proctor was in attendance). The room was also full of television and film celebrities.

It got me thinking about what it means to be famous. People who are famous are touching more lives (whether it’s through video, their businesses, or through books), and they can do a lot of good through their fame. They often make plenty of money to support themselves, and they also use their income to support causes they believe in.

Does this sound like something you’d like to be part of?

If so, it’s time to become famous in your business.

Before I share several ways that you can become famous in your business, there are a couple things to keep in mind.

Ava Gabrielle Century City~ You are already famous. Right now, people whose lives you’ve touched are already huge fans. They love you, and to them, you are already famous.

~ Fame is all relative. Being “famous” is a label that other people give you. It’s all outside perspective, which means that you don’t need to worry about it too much. What matters most is that you feel wonderful on the inside, despite what others say, and that you keep growing the amount of people you reach through your business.

Here are the first 2 ways that you can become famous in your business

1. Be present, be seen, and be engaged. (And don’t stop)

Being recognized is all about being seen, so it’s important that as an entrepreneur, you keep going. Keep taking little steps, and keep learning. Show up at networking events, attend business trainings, and be active in the online world.

Too many entrepreneurs I’ve met have prematurely given up on their businesses. I am thoroughly convinced that the entrepreneurs who keep going are the ones who will succeed. They will stay in business, and they will become famous.

2. When you work with a mentor, celebrate your successes with the intention that your mentor will highlight you through video, on stage, or online.

A few years ago, I was offered a spot on stage to share about my business. I always chuckle a little bit about the simple reason why I was asked to speak on that stage, especially when there were hundreds of other entrepreneurs to choose from. I’m convinced that the invitation came my way because I attended every single group call with my mentor, and I showed up every time.

When you are working with a mentor, and have fabulous successes in your business, it’s very likely that your mentor will invite you to share those successes with their audience. You may be given an opportunity to hop on a teleclass with them, or to share your testimonial through social media, or through their website.

Say YES.

on stage PopLiveBeing highlighted by your mentor is one of the greatest ways for you to receive exposure for your business.

Be willing to publicly celebrate the exciting things that have occurred while working with your coach. I also highly suggest offering to write a success story that your mentor can share online, since it will put you in front of their audience (and hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of new people).

By the way, if any of you have successes to celebrate that were inspired by my videos, training calls, or newsletters like this one, we always welcome written success stories or videos. Just send those over to us at [email protected], along with a high quality photo, and we’ll share them through www.AvaWaits.com.
