A couple months ago, I asked my intuition what I should focus on this summer. My intuition directly told me to continue expanding my speaking services, and it also told me to do something that was quite unexpected. (In case you want a little back-story, I wrote more about this in an article called The pressure to be a picture-perfect, 6-figure entrepreneur.)
My intuition suggested that I work with flowers again (It was years ago that I worked on a dahlia farm, when I was in college). So, I reached out to a local farm and got involved. For the past month, I’ve been working weekdays in my own company, and then helping to assemble and sell flower bouquets on the weekends. The flower season ends right about when I leave for a trip to Indonesia, so the timing worked out perfectly.
~ I love the permission I’ve given myself to be a multi-passionate person.
~ I love the grounded feeling I experience when I hold plants all day.
~ I love that I get to grow even more as a salesperson, and refine my skills. Then I get to bring these skills into my sales training programs for companies and entrepreneurs.
~ I love how being around flowers gives me even more content to add to the book I’m writing (there are several plant and money parallels that I share in the book).
I’ve also learned quite a bit about business abundance, happiness, and growth while working with the flowers this summer.
Listen in to learn more.
