Do you have to be loud and “ra, ra, ra” to be powerful?

No.

Over the past few years, I’ve been learning about a different kind of power – the kind that is present in a person who is poised, calm, and gentle on the outside, with a powerful core inside them.

A person who is in their power in this way lets problems slide past them.
They trust that everything will work out.
They can be silent observers.
They still get things done.
They trust that the timing of their wishes and desires will be immaculate.
This is the kind of power that causes strangers to walk up to you and say: “I feel like I need to meet you.”

It’s been interesting to be in the world of professional speakers, because I notice that people assume that a speaker is going to yell at them, make them jump up and down and do push ups to get motivated, and work really hard. There is an expectation that an outside exterior of yelling and struggling is a powerful one, and that a person exhibiting gentleness is a pushover and a weakling.

But what if having everything you desire doesn’t actually require that much strain?

What if tapping into your power, and uncovering your dreams, requires a totally different kind of energy than what we are used to?
