You are the solid center of your life and business. If your core melts (you fall into sadness, are overworked, or are not energetically available for clients) people will feel it, and respond to it. You’ll most likely miss out on opportunities, not sign on new clients, and keep feeling crumby.
You may sometimes feel like things are breaking down, when they are actually just rearranging themselves in your favor (it’s always in your favor). The moving parts of your life and business can be overwhelming, yet when your current and future clients seek your support, they are looking for you to be strong, solid, and centered.
Leaders are the eye in the storm. Nourishing your inner strength is very attractive in business, and you can practice being steady, calm, and happy, among whatever storms show up.
There are many ways to do this:
1. First, you must find happiness again. I’ve had moments where I could have let the storm of responsibilities and stresses overtake me. Instead, I go for a walk, with the most beautiful music playing through my headphones, and all is well. How do you rekindle your own happiness?
2. You’ll need to continue eating well, no matter what the circumstances. Stress leads so many of us to junk food, and it’s easy to compromise the way you treat your physical body if you don’t feel well emotionally.
While it may feel easier to eat fast meals prepared at a restaurant, there is a lot of healing energy and comfort in a meal that someone else lovingly prepares for you. Go ahead and ask someone to do this. You can return the favor a little later.
3. Lastly, you must shift what the voice in your head says to you.
If you ever feel like there is a storm going on around you and you’re struggling to stay centered and focused, I’d love to share this string of words with you. I invite you to say them in your mind over and over again, and find relief.
“I’m doing the best I can.
Things always work out for me.
People love and support me.
It’s all falling in place.
Everything is in my favor.
I am so excited.
I expect miracles.
I see my future.
It’s beautiful.”
