What a wonderful Sunday! I was treated to more poached eggs for breakfast, tea, and a gluten-free almond cookie. Delicious! After breakfast, I returned home for several calls with new students at my Nutrition School. Two of them melted my heart as they showered me with compliments and gratitude. They thanked me for teaching them what I have learned in my first years in business. Speaking with these students is so rewarding, and I’ve cried in happiness after several phone calls.
I haven’t made it to Catalina Island yet, but it’s on my list!
I’ve been thinking about something recently. Every time I return from a vacation and travel abroad, something huge shifts for me. When I travel, I have an opportunity to step out of the comfort of my life and experience new environments. Do you also love the feeling of coming home from a trip as much as I do? I’m always so proud of my adventures, and how I’ve grown inside. As I walk out of the airport and reunite with the people I love, I hope that they see a shift in who I am. After a 2 month stay in India, I met the most amazing, sweet and generous man. After 4 and a half months in Europe, I finally asked this same man to go out on a date with me. After returning from a recent trip, 2 new wonderful nutrition clients joined me in programs. Perhaps I shall dig into some old journals to look for some of the other big things that have shifted. I know that there are many.
