Here’s why I’m so thrilled to be your guide in this Mastermind:

For years, I was chasing after my own version of financial paradise. I was chasing riches, and was always frustrated when the money wasn’t there for me. When I had less than a dollar in my bank account, and had to go on food stamps to support my fledgling entrepreneurial dream, I definitely felt the stress of not having “enough.”

It was rough, and from the experience, I realized 2 things:

1. I didn’t actually know how to make money through my business (yet).

2. I was repelling the money that I did make.

As long as I chased after all of the “stuff” (the clients, the income, the professional recognition) and worked really hard to try to “get” it, none of it came easily.

It did start to come easily when I committed to living a richer and more beautiful life, despite whatever my financial circumstances were. Once I left fear behind, I was able to tap into the magic that I never knew surrounded me.

 

This began a series of fantastic transformations for my business.

The first shift was my income. You see, for quite a while, my monthly income had lingered around $800 to $1200. Then, in one month, I signed on $17,000 worth of new business, and high income months continued from there. Even my first official keynote speech brought in over $7,000.

I was eager to travel the world again, and with the money that began to stream in to my company, I flew off on trips to the Hawaiian Islands of Kauai and Maui. It was a very special conversation with a Hindu monk on Kauai where I learned how to attract customers to my business, like bees are attracted to flowers. I’ve been teaching aspects of this to many of my clients, and they appreciate that this approach gives them permission to feel beautiful, and to operate their business from a place of leisure.

 

My intention is to always surround myself with teachers who inspire me, especially as I write my first book, and step into the role of author. In the past couple years, I’ve set fear aside and reached out to some of the biggest names in my industry.

 

Once my business “took off,” I traveled back to Europe. Europe is a continent that I truly love, and it has always been part of my personal vision of paradise. Before becoming a business owner, I used to travel overseas quite a bit. Then, due to my own financial constriction, I grounded myself for several years.

A 22-day work trip through Europe was one of the first things that I gifted myself with once I figured out how to make money through my business. That journey included photo shoots in Paris and Geneva, meeting up with my assistant in Switzerland, and lounging along the warm Italian and French coasts.

 

 

And while all of the physical stuff is great, it has been the change within me that I most value. It’s a feeling of deep contentment. There is no longer a void to fill with new clothes or constant late night snacking. Now I have total faith that I will continue creating money through my business, and I do, at a rate that has let me double my income for several years in a row.
